Line Manager

A line manager is in prime position to spot the warning signs of domestic violence. By recognising the warning signs, a good line manager can gently work with the person who is enduring to build up their confidence and trust and ultimately refer the person who is enduring to services and places of help.

Our mission is to raise awareness and provide employers with practical support and tools to take positive action in the workplace.

“Work was my only safe place. When I told them what was going on they supported me wholeheartedly – everything from giving me a company car to go to counselling, time off to see lawyers, and they believed in me. Each person's journey is personal and full of dignity and grace. That's critical for people to know. And it's critical for people to know that they are not alone”
