In the second of two podcasts on the topic, Professor Gill Hague offers her thoughts on what academia can do to help tackle domestic violence. She says that violence against women was not a topic of interest 25 years ago. But from the hard work over the years, ‘research groups now conduct research on improving policy and the practice of agencies and also they work with activists, with managers and with governments to provide evidence and to improve responses to VAW (Violence against women).
